PITTSBURGH – In the first-ever WWE Bragging Rights Tag Team Match, Team SmackDown emerged victorious when co-captain and Unified Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho pinned Kofi Kingston. (PHOTOS)
The tag team victory proved to be pivotal for SmackDown, allowing the blue brand to break the 1-1 tie with Raw on the night and take home the coveted WWE Bragging Rights trophy. (Earlier matches: The Miz def. John Morrison SmackDown Divas def. Raw Divas)
But, the tag team victory came via perhaps one of the biggest betrayals in WWE history when Unified Tag Team Champion Big Show turned his back on Team Raw by chokeslamming Kingston, setting him up for the pinfall by Jericho. The World's Largest Athlete also turned the tables on Triple H by dropping him with a brutal punch to the head.
